The Built office fitout has won the DIA WA award for interior spaces corporate. The design was by Woods Bagot.
Built engaged Fredon for the installation of the electrical, communications and dry fire services and we worked with Wood and Grieves engineers on the design. The project was a refurbishment of an existing base structure, and the old building shell was exposed as a part of the aesthetic of the fitout. When industrial elements are intentionally exposed as design elements in this manner, it requires contractors such as Fredon to have more than usual sensitivity and attention to detail.
It is becoming somewhat of a trademark of the WA branch of Fredon, having faced similar requirements to execute exacting design specifications and provide bespoke elements for other Built projects in WA such as the Alex Hotel and the Virgin Lounge at Perth airport. Congratulations to Built on a well deserved win for a beautiful office space, we are honoured and proud to have been selected to contribute to the project.
