The NSW chapter of the National Electrical and Communications Associations (NECA) held their annual NSW NECA Apprentice Awards on 13th September 2019 at The Star City Casino.

Fredon is incredibly proud to announce that five of our apprentices took home a NECA Apprentice Award in the following categories:

Category – Commercial/Domestic:
Anthony Lawless – State 2nd Place
Matt Jorgensen – State 3rd Place

Category – Communications:
Jamie Meehan – State Winner
Jack Robertson – State 2nd Place

Category – Industrial:
Drew Dudley – State 2nd Place

Although Jamie Meehan was unable to attend the ceremony, as the State Winner in the Communications category he is now in contention for the national award.

On a touching note, the late Alan Brown, Fredon Group’s Deputy Chairman, posthumously received the Life Member Award for his significant involvement with NECA. Alan was extensively involved with NECA, working with them, striving to improve the electrical contracting industry. His dedication and passion for the industry led him to become the National President of NECA in 2016.
