These new buildings constructed for the Australian National University incorporated leading facilities including Synthetic and Physical laboratories, support spaces, offices and back of house services.
Fredon was contracted to undertake a multi-services role on this project including Mechanical Services, Laboratory Gases, Fume Cupboards, Natural Gas supply and Building Management Systems.

The scope of the work comprised the supply, installation, commissioning and testing of the following:

  • Mechanical air handling systems and associated infrastructure
  • Laboratory gas services
  • Fume cupboards systems
  • Energy initiatives such as tempered outside air utilising reclaimed heat from the building
  • Innovative manifolded fume cupboard exhaust systems and Strobic fan system enabling heat recovery
