Queen’s Wharf is undergoing a vibrant transformation that will place Brisbane as the resort destination for leisure, entertainment and tourism.

The completion of the redevelopment will see the precinct filled with multiple attractions such as a new world-class casino, 360 Sky Deck, four premium hotels, 50 new food and beverage establishments, entertainment facilities, high-end retail plaza and new public space.

Stage 1 of the redevelopment was the Goodwill Extension, involving the upgrade of the riverside Bicentennial Bikeway, a new recreational park and a 450 metre suspended walkway through the mangroves along Brisbane River.

Fredon provided the design, supply, installation, verification and testing of the following Electrical, Communication and Security works:

  • Consumer Sub-mains
  • Distribution Boards
  • General Light & Power System
  • Lighting Control System
  • Information Technology System – Active & Passive
  • Security System with CCTV, Intercom Help Points and Duress
  • Street Lighting (Poles)

The Goodwill Extension was opened to the public in October 2019 and will continue to be opened for the remainder of the construction and redevelopment of Queen’s Wharf Brisbane.
