The new building at Fredon’s Silverwater office was officially opened by Fredon Group Deputy Chairman, Alan Brown, on Friday 12th October 2018. The new building is connected to the existing building with a link bridge on level one, and now accommodates Fredon HVAC and Asset Services. The older building continues to house Fredon Electrical, Security, Technology and shared services.

Taking a leaf from the open planned and collaborative spaces we more commonly see in the workspaces we’re involved in constructing, the new building features tall collaboration tables, which will allow staff to conduct standing meetings and work together as required. A number of hot desks can also be seen throughout the office, and quiet spaces to make a phone call.

“We’re sure there will be teething problems to address as we settle in, and look forward to seeing improved accommodation for everyone once the churn of existing offices is complete.”

– Alan Brown, Fredon Group Deputy Chairman

The official opening coincided with a quarterly and communications information session hosted by Fredon Group Managing Director and CEO, David Simpson.

“The opening of our new building is an occasion for the Fredon history books. We’re very proud of our new building and the contributions of our electrical, HVAC, technology and security divisions in developing a first-class facility that will support the growth of our company.”

David Simpson, Fredon Group Managing Director and CEO
