The ACT Chapter of the National Electrical and Communication Association (NECA) held their annual NECA State Awards for 2024 on Friday 26th July. These awards highlight the achievements of individuals and companies in the Electrical and Communication industry.
We are delighted to share the Fredon ACT team were awarded the Excellence Award in Lighting Design & Construct for their work on the Deloitte ACT Office Fitout. We are also proud of Estimator Hannah Lee, who was awarded the Excellence Award for Women in Energy.
ACT State Winner Lighting Design & Construct: Deloitte ACT Office Fitout
Fredon received the ACT State Excellence Award for Lighting Design & Construct for their outstanding work on the Deloitte ACT Office Fitout. The scope of work involved installing specialty lighting throughout the floor plates, including custom hand-blown pendants and custom linear fittings. Fredon also handled the installation and integration of complex lighting control systems.

ACT Excellence Award for Women in Energy: Hannah Lee
Congratulations to Hannah Lee for receiving the ACT Excellence Award for Women in Energy. Hannah joined Fredon in 2016 as an Apprentice and was offered a full-time role in 2021 upon completion of her apprenticeship. After working on several large-scale projects, and showing enthusiasm and professionalism, Hannah was offered the role of leading hand in 2023 and worked on the Deloitte Office Fitout project where she was earmarked for a future in management. Hannah was offered a role as Junior Estimator in August 2023 and has become an instrumental part of the team, now leading the Minor Works estimating team. Hannah is a member of The National Association of Women in Construction and actively mentors and supports female electricians. Congratulations Hannah!
