Crestron held their Modern Workplace Summit 2024 in Sydney in May and Fredon Technology won an award for the Boardroom Intelligent Upgrade for their client.
Fredon Technology NSW Director and General Manager Nick Orsatti congratulated both project teams on their achievements.

Intelligent Video Project of the Year: Boardroom Intelligent Video Upgrade
Our client’s Boardroom Intelligent Video Upgrade project, delivered by Fredon Technology NSW Client Services Group, received the Crestron Intelligent Video Project of the Year award.
Fredon Technology implemented the client’s Executive Boardroom as part of a 3 year project to update meeting facilities in Sydney.
The original board room was based on a bespoke oval table, a complete mix-minus custom audio solution, Cisco conferencing, Crestron control and video distribution and a Samsung LED video wall and LCD confidence monitors. The intent of the solution was to provide “face to face” conferencing facilities, and as such the camera solution for conferencing was based on hidden fixed cameras that were then processed with a TV one video processor and fed to the conference codec. This solution was appropriate for the time and represented the best camera outcome available for the high-end executive board room.
After trialling the new Crestron Intelligent Video Solutions in 2024, the client set out to implement the same system as an enhancement of the previously installed bespoke solution, which was considered cutting-edge for its time.
The introduction of the new 1 Beyond Solution significantly enriches user experience by integrating leading technology, enhancing natural interaction, and boosting space flexibility. Additionally, it exemplifies the seamless integration of advanced AI technologies into existing systems and architectural frameworks, resulting in enhanced user experience with minimal adjustments required.
