Caboolture Hospital Redevelopment will deliver 130 additional beds for Caboolture Hospital and includes a new Clinical Services Building, a new six storey multi-storey car park, and an expansion and refurbishment program that will enhance and modernise spaces within the existing hospital.

The new five-story Clinical Services Building includes a new and expanded emergency department, a new perioperative unit with six operating rooms and two endoscopy procedure rooms, and new inpatient units including intensive care, palliative care, geriatric evaluation, cardiac care and medical wards. The refurbishment works to the existing hospital includes an enhanced and expanded neonatal unit, medical day unit, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health services unit, expanded pharmacy, pathology and medical records.

Fredon were engaged to complete the Electrical and Communication works for this project.

Fredon Technology delivered hearing augmentation solutions and digital operating theatre infrastructure, supporting the electrical and communications package. These works were crucial, ensuring the hospital met certification for Disabled Access and digital operating theatre specialist medial hardware integration.

The Clinical Services Building was completed in October 2023.
